            Description
            
            This activity features five challenging cases in which you will review whole slide images of peripheral blood, bone marrow aspirates, and core biopsies, as well as surgical specimens. You will be presented with information on each case including clinical history, specimen source information, diagnostic findings and other ancillary testing data, and a corresponding whole slide image.
        
            Objectives
            
            After completing this  activity, you should be able to:
            
                - Incorporate CBC data and other laboratory test results in the workup of hematolymphoid disorders.
- Analyze the salient features of the clinical disease/diagnosis, including the etiology/pathogenesis, clinical features, treatment options, and prognosis.
- Interpret immunohistochemical stains and special stains to determine the correct diagnosis.
- Recognize the morphologic features of neoplastic and nonneoplastic entities involving blood, bone marrow, lymph node, or other hematolymphoid tissues.
- Evaluate ancillary studies such as flow cytometry and molecular/genetic studies, and incorporate these results to determine the correct diagnosis.
