Additional Information
The CAP Quality Cross Check program is a quality assurance program that helps laboratories verify the performance of up to three instruments per challenge and serves as a convenient solution for monitoring instruments on a more routine basis.

The CAP Quality Cross Check program enhances your quality assurance efforts by:
  • Providing a comprehensive tool for proactive monitoring of your laboratory instruments and identification of instrument problems before they impact patient testing and proficiency testing (PT) results
  • Offering additional opportunities for your employees to fulfill their competency assessment requirements
  • Providing customized reports based on peer group and instrument comparability statistics augmenting your instrument comparability efforts with additional resources, saving you valuable staff time.

CAP Quality Cross Check is not proficiency testing; and the results from this program will not be sent to any regulatory agency.
  • Nine 1.7‑mL specimens (three duplicate sets) for i-STAT methods only
  • Report up to three instruments
  • Conventional and International System of Units (SI) reporting offered
